Well worth going here if in Matlock
A very slick and polished service that manages to maintain a relaxed and informal dining experience. The food and wine is of a very high standard and the general atmosphere and warmth of the staff help to make it a very enjoyable evening.
Great restaurant
Had a great time & meal at Stones. The staff were great, really polite & nothing was too much trouble. We were even able to sit outside, next to the river as it was a really hot saturday night. We will definitley return soon.
Best dining experience in Matlock
We loved the deco, simple but cosy. We loved the service, very professional but friendly, we loved the food, cooked to perfection and the right portion sizes, we loved the set menu offer - good value for money and we loved the atmosphere - lively but we could still hold a conversation without having to shout. We had a FANTASTIC evening here. This place is a MUST if you are in Matlock or in the area.
A must to visit on your trip to Matlock
I have had the pleasure in visiting Stones Restaurant on a couple of occasions since its opening earlier this year and I can honestly say I cannot find any fault with the whole package offered.
